The School's Admission Policy is as follows:

St. Nicholas House School is a co-educational preparatory school, which welcomes pupils of all denominations.

Children are not discriminated against because of creed, colour, physical or mental disability, except wherein, it would be impossible, to cope within the confines of the building.

There are no academic entry requirements

When possible the children will start school in September. However, if there are vacancies, they can start at other suitable times during the year.

Children who are 3 years old by 31st August may start in the Kindergarten.

Children who are 4 years old will start full time in Form I in the term of their 4th birthday in consultation with parents, Kindergarten and Head of Early Years. Nursery Voucher Scheme operating.

Parents are expected to support the ethos and aims of the School.

Parents should ring the school before 9.30 a.m. if their child is ill, sending a note to explain the reason for absence when the child returns to school.

Parents must request in writing for permission to be given by the Head for holidays in term time.

Taster days can be arranged for pupils to meet their prospective classmates and teacher and for parents to be introduced to other parents in the class.
